Privacy policy

This policy explains what data the tools.codes home page handles, why, and what your rights are under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018, LGPD). Each tool has its own policy covering what happens inside it.

Your files

The files you open in the tools are processed only in your browser. They are not uploaded, copied or stored by us.

Usage statistics

We count visits and tool actions ourselves, on our own servers. We record the page, country, device type, browser family, language, the origin that referred you here (the site only, not the full address) and which tool actions were used.

We use no cookie and no persistent identifier. Your IP address is never stored: we use a hash that rotates every day and cannot be reversed. None of this is sent to third parties. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, you are not counted.

Fonts

The site's fonts come from Google Fonts. When downloading them, your browser tells Google your IP address, as with any request to a server. No cookie is involved.

Only the "Accessibility" button preferences, if you change any (key tools-a11y), which apply to every app on tools.codes.

Legal basis and your rights

Aggregate statistics rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site free and running (art. 7, IX). You can ask for confirmation, access, correction, deletion and information about sharing of your data. Since we keep no data that identifies you, there will usually be nothing to hand over or delete.
