Privacy policy
Updated November 1, 2026.
This policy explains what data Snapframe handles, why, and your rights, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, for visitors in Europe, the GDPR.
Your videos and images
The videos you open and the images you extract are processed only in your browser. We never receive, copy or store them. When you close the page, everything is gone from memory.
Ads and cookies
The site shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to serve ads, cap repeats and measure results. Personalised ads (based on your visits to this and other sites) are only requested if you click "Accept" in the cookie notice. If you choose "Only necessary", we ask Google for non-personalised ads, which may still use cookies for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
You can change your choice at any time with "Cookies" in the footer, and manage Google's personalisation at adssettings.google.com. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
What we keep in your browser
Your cookie choice, in the browser's local storage (key snapframe-consent), so we don't ask again, and your accessibility preferences if you change any (see below).
Usage statistics
We count visits and tool actions ourselves, on our own servers. We record the page, country, device type, browser family, language, the origin that referred you here (the site only, not the full address) and which tool actions were used (for example opening a video, extracting frames and downloading the ZIP), with no file names or content.
We use no cookie and no persistent identifier. Your IP address is never stored: we use a hash that rotates every day and cannot be reversed. None of this is sent to third parties. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, you are not counted.
Fonts
The site's fonts come from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads them, Google sees your IP address, as with any request to a server. No cookies are involved.
Accessibility features
Your choices in the "Accessibility" panel (text size, contrast, font and the rest) stay in your browser only (key tools-a11y) and apply to every app on tools.codes.
VLibras (Brazilian Sign Language) is a Brazilian federal government service, offered on the Portuguese pages only. It loads only if you turn it on in the accessibility panel; your browser then downloads the translator from gov.br and sends it the text you ask it to translate.
Legal basis
Personalised ads: consent. Non-personalised ads, security and aggregate statistics: legitimate interest in keeping the site free and running.
Your rights
You may ask for confirmation, access, correction, deletion and information about sharing of your data, and withdraw consent. Since we keep no personal data about you on a server, requests about ad cookies should also go to Google through the links above.
