About Snapframe
Snapframe is a free tool for pulling frames out of videos and saving them as images. It came from a simple need: get the right photo out of a video without installing software, creating an account or sending the file to someone else's server.
How it's built
Everything runs in your browser. The page uses the browser's own video player to seek to each moment and draws the frame into an image that is created and downloaded on your device. There is no database of your videos, because they never reach us.
How it's funded
With Google AdSense ads, shown in spaces kept apart from the tool. You choose whether ads may be personalised; the choice lives under "Cookies" in the footer. Details in the privacy policy.
Who makes it
Snapframe is an independent project made in Brazil by a software developer. Suggestions, bug reports and feature requests are welcome.
